The Town of Buena Vista is seeking applications from community members interested in serving on the town’s Tree Advisory Board. There are currently two vacancies for regular members. These are volunteer positions that are open to anyone with an interest in the subject. Board meetings take place once a month.
The Tree Advisory Board’s duties and responsibilities are to study, investigate, develop and recommend to the Board of Trustees the adoption of a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas.
Applications for these positions can be picked up at Town Hall and are also available here. Please submit completed applications to bvaa@buenavistaco.gov. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
