The Town of Buena Vista welcomes your application for the Planning Technician position. The purpose of this full-time position is to provide technical support to the Town’s planning and development review efforts to ensure high quality development in our community. The position assists with information requests on development; is responsible for reviewing permit applications for compliance with zoning standards including building, sign, accessory structure, and fence permits; conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and permits issued; maintaining a variety of data bases including property and permit information; and assists with Planning Commission meetings.
