Effective immediately, due to the recent storm the Town will be accepting branches from Town residents at the Public Works Shop (755 Gregg Drive) from 9am-4pm *weekdays only* through our Town Clean-Up weekend on May 18 - 19. There will be no fee for those bringing in branches. Town crews will be out cleaning up rights-of-way, Town facilities, and parks. Due to manpower limitations, Town staff will not be able to clear branches from private property.
Town Clean-Up Weekend
Saturday May 18, 2019 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Sunday May 19, 2019 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ the Public Works Shop, 755 Gregg Drive
The Town of Buena Vista Public Works Department will be accepting the following items from town residents:
tree and bush clippings, electronics (Fee Based), metal recycling, furniture, non-toxic trash, and empty dried paint cans.
Public Works does not accept: expired prescription drugs, used tires, hazardous liquids (such as used motor oil, paint, and gasoline),
grass clippings, household garbage, and construction materials.
Signs will be posted at the Public Works Shop to direct individuals to the “Dump Area.”

Electronics Recycling
Electronics recycling will be available at Public Works on May 18-19 for computer components, monitors, laptops, back-up batteries, surge suppressors, cell phones, etc.
Fees for electronic recycling:
$1.50 per screen inch for glass TVs and monitors
Flat screens:
$5 - 24" or less
$10 - 24" to 40"
$15 - 40" to 50"
$20 - 50" plus
VCRs, desktop printers, etc. - $2
Large printers $5 to $50 ($0.20/lb.)
Projection TVs - $35
