The Town of Buena Vista is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning & Zoning Commission. This is a volunteer position for an Alternate Member, open to Town residents with an interest in Buena Vista planning projects. Planning Commission meetings take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning at 6pm. Commissioners also attend various training sessions, requiring some travel.
The Commission is responsible for ensuring orderly development of the Buena Vista community through review of development and long-range planning projects, as well as other issues related to the growth, health, safety, and welfare of the community.
