To meet the constitutional and legislative requirements to count the U.S. population, we urge Buena Vista residents to complete their 2020 Census at my2020census.gov or by phone at (844) 330-2020.
For those who have yet to receive their census invitation or paper questionnaire, it’s OK to move forward with completing the census form online or by phone. Simply use your address in lieu of your user ID.
Results from the 2020 Census count will:
- Determine the number of seats Colorado has in the House of Representatives.
- Guide federal funding.
- Provide data that will impact our community for the next 10 years.
The current deadline to respond to the 2020 Census is Aug. 14, 2020.
