The Town of Buena Vista is currently seeking applications from community members interested in serving on the town’s new Economic Vitality Board. The Board will be comprised of seven regular members and two alternate members. These are volunteer positions that are open to anyone with an interest in Buena Vista’s economic future. Board meetings will take place once a month.
The Economic Vitality Board acts as the advisory board to the Town of Buena Vista Board of Trustees on matters and policies pertaining to economic development, including goal setting, strategic planning, Comprehensive Plan updates, marketing and business recruitment, and retention and expansion for all business, industrial and commercial areas. The Board may occasionally be assigned additional duties by the Board of Trustees.
Applications for these positions can be picked up at Town Hall and are also available on the town website. Applications will be accepted until all Board positions are filled.
